1. Advertising within event video on demand feed:
- We streamed 4 channels (An esports first) showing all games that ran from Saturday 10AM until Sunday 11PM. These videos are in the process of being edited. I have added some screenshots from the streams to this email. BenQ had brand exposure on all 4 streams during games, during interviews and of course during Ijustine features (She has 1.5 Million twitter followers and this is the first time she has done an esports event outside of official Activision events).
2. Advertising on all event websites including third party websites:
- Branding was put on our twitch site during the event. However This has since been taken down as we prepare to launch the second event. This was on all 4 twitch channels. In regards to third party websites this was going to be on one of the worlds largest energy drink websites. Regrettably on the eve of the event a technicality appeared which resulted in this not being public which resulted in the rather odd situation that included the entire venue being kitted out with free energy drink.
3. BenQ logo exposure on all promo and media materials:
- All current videos that are on our youtube site are old videos that were generated before the BenQ deal was signed. However we are in the process of making 48 hours worth of VOD's that will be appearing on our Youtube channel in the coming days which all include BenQ branding.

Yu Shin Motor Car’s showroom in New Taipei City’s Tucheng District has been renovated. In late June, BenQ’s power-saving LED lighting solution was installed to replace the traditional illumination used in the showroom, such as conventional cold cathode fluorescent lights and halogen lamps. In assessing the automobile showroom’s requirements, the most important consideration was the display space’s high ceiling, which meant illumination with high luminance was essential to fully bring out the elegant looks of the cars. After coming to a thorough understanding of Yu Shin’s requirements, BenQ planned out a complete set of beautiful LED lighting fixtures using BenQ LED lamps to replace existing illumination devices. QisDesign is collaborating with Mexican channel vendor Birot, organizing an art exhibition in old houses in Mexico City. The exhibition’s theme was inspired by primitive invertebrates, and gives artists a chance to transform imaginings of these creatures into a fantastical user space, where a sort of scientific fable is used to interpret human lives. QisDesign’s Aurelia Light lamps were inspired by the moon jellyfish (whose scientific name, Aurelia aurita, provides the product’s moniker), and using an ocean-like undulating illumination in combination with variously colored hanging light fixtures, they conjure up magical sparkling wave effects. The old vacant houses are being given new life as images of marine animals, amber, and minerals are evoked within.

七月BenQ家用投影機種正式在印度RDRL的120間商店上架推出，同時，也在多家商店架設了展示點來讓消費者實際體驗BenQ W1070家用投影機。
In July, BQin has launched a Home Theatre Demo Zone with Reliance Digital Retail LTD (RDRL). Reliance Digital, an Indian retail chain for consumer electronics and durables has 120 stores across India and BQin has identified 19 stores in 4 cities/state which are their best stores for CE products. Besides, in India, no LFR currently sells Projector hence there are no competitors. The program remains one quarter and also Reliance will not be removing our installation in immediate future of up to 6 months. We will run 14 demo spots in retailer and focus on demonstrating video projector, W1070.

七月BenQ參加馬來西亞國際影音展，展出家用投影機包括W1500 、 W1080ST W1070 、W7000+等，並與超過150位來自世界各國的潛在消費者接觸。
BenQ Malaysia participated in KL International (KLI) AV Show from Jul 5th to 7th. KLI AV show is the region's premier home theatre and Hi-Fi exhibition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The total number of visitors is around 10K and BenQ booth had a good spot as well as successfully caught visitors’ attention. At BenQ brand booth, BenQ Malaysia mainly concentrated on new products, W1500 & W1080ST and live demonstrated both with movie playback. Other models, W1070 and W7000+ were in static demonstration and also at dealer booth together with other AV products. In the event, W1500 draw lots of attention, besides its wireless transmission function, 2D to 3D conversion was another very important selling point for end users. In three days, BenQ Malaysia sold 16 units video projector and collected contact of 150 potential buyers.

BenQ proposed SH910 as a perfect solution which is a 4000ANSI Lumens Full HD projector along with LAN Control, LAN Display & USB Display feature. Due to ambient light in the classroom, a higher lumens projector was proposed.
Solution
BenQ was able to win this tender by providing the IT Team at the university additional features that would assist the users and administrators to engage in a better experience. The LAN Control feature allows the IT administrator to monitor and control the projector remotely. The LAN Display feature allows the content from any PC on the network or a network hard-drive to be displayed on the Interactive Whiteboard (IWB) through the BenQ SH910. This projector also features USB Display function where in the contents from a PC can be projected to the IWB via USB cable.
BenQ was able to win this tender by providing the customer with an advanced solution that was able to meet their needs as compared to competition models.

To well educate the IR solution and to build closer relationship and partnership, BenQ Malaysia held a projector seminar on Jul 12th & 13th at Awana Genting Resort Genting, Pahang. In this seminar, BenQ Malaysia invited 14 key resellers, gave the complete presentation and showcased BenQ Classroom IQ solution, WXGA and Pro AV projectors and also IFP.
Partners were impressed by MX819ST demonstration with PointWrite, and SH910 showing wireless & LAN display. BenQ Malaysia received many positive feedbacks and sold out 5 units of MX819, 1 unit of MW820ST right after the event and collected back order for 10 units of MX819ST. Throughout the 2-day event, BenQ Malaysia successfully built closely relationship with VAR/SI and was able to dig out lots of business information for future project opportunity.

There were 3 interviews from media with NS heads and 1 award for gaming monitor. Peter So, the country head of BenQ Korea, was interviewed by IOReport to talk about BenQ products while celebrating the 10th anniversary of the corporation. In terms of projectors, education was still the major market, yet in the future BenQ Korea will continuously promote video projectors. Flicker-free LCD monitors will be the focus segment to boost in the coming quarters.

Pattakorn, the country head of BenQ Thailand, was interviewed by Marketeer magazine for projectors. He highlighted WXGA series and its benefits for office usage. Its wider screen can display more content compared to ordinary projector. Pattakorn talked about marketing direction and upcoming products in 2013 to enrich each segment, including home entertainment, office usage, portable projector and short-throw projector.

Regional Gamers LAN - July 5th-6th in Mildura
The Regional Gamers LAN (RGL) was formed several years ago to cater to console gamers in remote regions of Australia. Usually this event draws between 150-200 people from farming communities, regional townships and small areas surrounding Melbourne. They host Call of Duty and Formula 1 racing competitions, with prizes provided by several smaller Australian sponsors. BenQ Australia provided 8 units of XL2420T for competition and gamers appreciated 120Hz and height adjustability features.
Monash Computer Games Boot Camp - July 6th-12nd in Melbourne
Monash Computer Games Boot Camp (CGBC) is a Monash University initiative, designed to reward and encourage students who may be interested in working in IT or gaming fields. Successful figures, journalists and vendors were all invited to speak in public at the event to share their experiences in the field. It initially provided students who enjoyed playing games with an event where they could express their interests and meet like-minded individuals. BenQ Australia cooperated with Thermaltake to support 8 units of XL2420T for free-play area and around 2,500 students stopped in at the event over the week to partake in games, giveaways and presentations from industry figureheads.
Oz Comic Con – July 5th-6th in Melbourne
Australian Comic Con follows in the footsteps of its older brother in the US, bringing together notable comic artists, celebrities, gamers and ‘geek’ cultures. The organization hosts events in multiple states across Australia, drawing between 3,000-5,000 per stop. Gaming was introduced to these events last year and has become a mainstay of the event – it is worth noting the cosplay efforts of attendees for popular such as League of Legends, Starcraft and Marvel vs. Street Fighter. BenQ Australia cooperated with ShadowLogic to supply RL2450HT and GW2760HS for Call of Duty and Street Fighter free-play area and many console gamers were satisfied with GW2760HS performance.

BenQ Guru, a professional enterprise human resource information services vendor, joined with innovation management experts to hold seminars on how to use digitalized corporate training to spark workforce innovation. Held in Taipei on 5 July and Taoyuan on 24 July, the seminar’s exciting content included a presentation by Kainan Graduate Institute of Innovation and Project Management chairman Meng-Jong Kuan and IIEBD vice chairman Professor Luo Fa-sheng on how innovation can create a win-win for both employees and businesses. In another presentation, Taoyuan County Human Resource Management Association director Sheng–Ying Tang shared practical tips on how to take advantage of government resources and the application of TTQS to increase the competitiveness of a company’s talent.
